9 Free At-Home Workouts for Every Fitness Level

Let’s be honest—sometimes getting to the gym just isn’t happening. Whether you're a total newbie or a seasoned pro, working out at home can be a total game-changer. And the best part? You don’t need a fancy subscription or pricey equipment to break a sweat.

YouTube is packed with free workouts that cater to every fitness level, from gentle beginner routines to advanced sweat-fests that’ll have you feeling like a champ. I’ve rounded up 10 awesome workouts led by inspiring instructors who know how to keep things fun and effective.

Each of the workout I’ve included are between 25-40 minutes, so if time is a factor for you, you’ll find that you still have options for a quick workout!

1. Jessica Smith

Beginner/Intermediate

You may have heard me mention Jessica Smith in another post, and that’s because I think she is awesome! She’s a great instructor for those who are still new to their fitness journeys, those who are looking for pre & post-natal workouts, or those who are simply looking for something a bit more gentle while still presenting a challenge.

2. Zen Den Fitness & Wellness

Beginner/Intermediate

This workout is an extension of this very website. I have a few workouts that I’ve posted, with plans to add to refine future videos and add to the collection.

I really try to put energy into making workouts that are beginner friendly that can also be easily adapted for those who seek a more intermediate workout.

Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced

GymRa is a fitness platform with a plethora of instructors, fitness levels, and styles of workouts. There is truly something for everyone with GymRa, and Jada Kelly is an amazing and inspirational certified instructor, and you can check out a couple of her workouts here:

4. BodyFit by Amy

Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced

Amy of BodyFit by Amy has an extensive collection of workouts. She is a personal trainer who caters her workouts for fitness newbies, pre & post-natal workouts, as well as those with plenty of fitness experience.

5. Trainer Kaitlin

Intermediate/Advanced

Kaitlin is a down-to-earth personal trainer who has some workouts! While some beginners may enjoy some of her workouts, the majority of her workouts are geared towards more intermediate and advanced fitness fanatics.

Crystal, the trainer behind Puzzle Fit, is an amazing and strong woman who believes in fitness and wellness involves more than just a solid gym routine. She takes a holistic approach that involves “Nutrition, Strength, Cardio, Yoga, and Rest”.

7. Heather Robertson

Intermediate/Advanced

Heather has quite the collection of intermediate and advanced workouts to choose from on her channel. She is a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and an amazing instructor.

8. Penny Barnshaw with Garage Fitness Girl

Intermediate/Advanced

Penny is a full-time personal trainer and she is, admittedly, one of my favorite online fitness instructors. She is spunky but not over-the-top. She has workouts ranging from bodyweight, to strength, to no-repeat, to kettlebell—and everything in between!

9. Fit Body by Julia

Advanced

Julia is definitely not for the faint of heart! She is a mom of 4, in amazing shape, and has quite the collection of workouts on her YouTube channel.

Like I said, she is an advanced instructor, so if your new to fitness I do not recommend starting with her!
